Following 25 years of working in the Drinks Industry, James Robertson started Wildcat Spirits drawing on a wealth of experience to assist companies in sales, global exports, brand building and presentation skills.

James is an experienced international sales manager with core strengths in developing relationships, branded awareness and global exports in markets such as the USA, Canada, Asia, Europe, the Nordics, Russia and the former Soviet Republics. For nearly 10 years James was the Global Brand Ambassador and International Sales Manager for Tullibardine Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. He was synonymous worldwide with Tullibardine presenting on TV, Radio & to live audiences. Known as a charismatic public speaker with excellent presentation skills, attending the key Whisky Festivals around the world.
What has also shaped James’s experience is his background in working in different companies and areas of expertise, which assisted him in starting Wildcat Spirits. These include;
- Police Inspector in the Royal Hong Kong Police.
- Platoon Commander with the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.
- Working as a salesman in Kuala Lumpur and Aberdeen for an Engineering Company in the Oil Industry.
- Salesman for Corney & Barrow Wine Merchants and Matthew Clark.
- Regional Sales Manager for Hatch Mansfield looking after brands such as Champagne Taittinger, Maison Louis Jadot, Vina Errazuriz, Villa Maria and St Francis Winery.
